Dr. Ted Albrecht, PsyD, is a fellowship-trained concussion specialist with focused expertise in the evaluation and treatment of concussion. He completed a two-year clinical fellowship at the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program, one of the nation's leading high-volume concussion centers. There he trained in complex recovery, return-to-school and return-to-work planning, and targeted rehabilitation for the vestibular, visual, exertional, cervical, headache, sleep, and psychological factors that affect recovery. 

Dr. Albrecht has evaluated and treated thousands of adolescents and adults with concussions from sports, workplace, motor vehicle, and other injuries.  Rather than relying on symptoms alone, Dr. Albrecht uses a comprehensive evaluation to identify objective findings, then builds a practical, active treatment plan. He coordinates with physicians, therapists, schools, and employers along the way, with the goal of clear, clinically defensible recommendations that help patients move forward with confidence. His research has been published in the Journal of Neurotrauma and the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology.
